Some of them look cool, but the Spectre's color makes me sick :ill:

Please note that on the main page only the Skeleton Warrior has a clickable portrait (with a link to a larger picture).

The thread on the forum has working links for all creatures. Check it out here: http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/ ... 3291077465

Why Horror instead of Ghost?! Sounds so much better.

What do you think about Banshee?

Nice name IMHO, but if the unit is also nice...
Grah!

Doesn't fit with the scythe, but i like it as a name... it's Irish.

The lich has an uninspiring name, i think i prefer Power Lich, or at Least Master Lich.

I like Power Lich also just for the sake of continuity, and I agree the scythe doesn't really go with banshee... but I do like the idea of banshees in the game. I'm not thrilled with Nosferatu name either... but the names in the end don't really mean much to me.

Anyone know how to take out the scythe?! It'd make a nice mod.

And what do you have against Nosferatu?!

Because it basically just means vampire. is a nosferatu really an upgrade to a vampire?

Spiffy. I really like the skeleton warrior and lich master (I also prefer the name power lich). For some reason, the Diseased Zombie has a really stupid hair cut.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

Well according to newsletter you first become lich and then as you achieve more mastery in death your body actually gets more younger and you turn first into the Vampire and then in Nosferatu ... But,looking at this Nosferatu it doesn't seem that they followed that example ... It's just one of many holes in New HoMM story ... ;|

The units don't look too bad, though the Banshee could do with a more sombre colour and the Disease Zombie has a cobweb on its stomach.
Sleeping Strike could be very annoying and Death Wail sounds quite interesting. Could it be some form of Banshee Howl?

Nosferatu have lost their no retaliation ability... which I don't like.
Master Liches are no longer ranged creatures... pretty bold of them... but frankly it seems a bit strange.
steal shots... that is weird...
skeleton warrior looks cool... the dragon too....

With the sleep strike ability, the loss of no retaliation may not be so horrible. That's assuming the strike puts a unit to sleep upon being struck. I really don't see how it'd be much different than blind though. The only way I could see it being different is if it only last one turn.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

it could be a "soldier's luck" related ability... which doesn't always trigger when you would want it to... plus, necros are not too fond of the Luck skill

Agreed. Plus it would really suck fighting heavy hitters without the no retaliation, especailly when life drain is inapplicable i.e, Titans and Lava Dragons.

Yeah... not to mention the fact that as the retaliations are not simultaneous a retaliation will always do damage to the vampires.

In another order of thoughts... I wonder what will they do about the Necromancy skill... because it is clear it cannot remain as the present one...

Here's an interesting idea for it. Instead of having the hero raise the units into his army as he goes along, have them appear at the Necropolis instead. Seems like a stretch, but that way you wouldn't be denied raising troops because they are an incompatiable upgrade. Instead of dealing with any upgrades, the troops would just be raised as base troops. That way you can upgrade them as you please and have a nice set of reinforcements when you get back to your castle.
And the chickens. Those damn chickens.

They need to go back to the necromancy of H2 and H3: you resurrect skeletons and that's it. Being able to ressurect wights and liches is just insane. And you should only be able to resurrect skeletons on a number fraction basis.
