Thanks Lucky.

(Even if I DID see the costume request in time, snail mail would have never gotten it to you. ;) )

I kind of went overboard on that piece - just under a grand.

But it was well worth it and since it will ultimately house all my computer equipment.

Currently it houses two Pc boxes, 2 CRT monitors, 1 television, 1 dvd player, one console game, router, woofer w/ speakers, cable modem and usb hub.

Ultimately...
Bottom level will include 3-4 computers + Cooling Unit + sub-woofer
Desk Level will house three flat panel monitors (19" - 24" wide - 19") + KVM + USB Hub
Mezanine Level will host DVR+DVD+Cable Modem+Router+Apple TV (or like product)+New Console game
Upper Deck will host the extremely large Flat Panel TV (40" probably)

It's still a fun planning stage right now. It's only been that celan for the picture. But I'm a computer guy and constantly using it to work on firneds and family boxes and to tinker on.

I chose to spend my money on the computer itself, saving money on tables and chairs.

Well to me a computer is only good for 3 years - the desk will last forever.

Don't worry - I sink quite enough into equipment purchases too.

Shouldn't that be poor little person? I mean you're not starting to begrudgingly respect me or something? That would be disappointing.

Feel free to donate your cast off computer to me. :D Mine was "Top of the line" in 1999. Came with the all NEW Window ME (Millenium Edition) and the hot new DR ram! Whoo hoo! All of which went down the tubes (because both ME and DR suck!) and now I can't upgrade my ram for less money than a new computer. *sigh*
