Yeah. We have quite a lot of those.

There was a time in history when monks used to build their houses like that in the stone of the mountain or in caves. The later restored dwellings look like the one in the picture and some of them are still used, while others remained a turistic attraction.

The White House is however more special through what it represents. ;)
Yeah, the british never burned the Atheneum to the ground, so there's a big difference right there.

They also might have bombed us during WW2.

Well, looks about the same to me... except it has that dome thing on the top which the White House doesn't.

Many bombed us during WW2, unfortunately it's the Russians who stayed. I think anybody else (British, Americans, even Germans) would have been better. It's because of that probably that we have mainly the nature to be proud with,... and whatever was built before the Communism.

So let's see some more of that.

One of Dracula's castles IIRC (the other one can be seen in some of the pics from the previous page):

And the famous Merry Cemetery (most probably too merry for Ethric): ;)

Yeah, Zam, nature, Bucovina (where most of the churches are) and Bran castle ("Dracula's" castle) are all very nice and stuff, but average stuff needs to be shown too. Plus, those were some good photographers that made the pictures, the sights don't look like that in normal everyday light.

Here's a pic of the type of block I'm probably going to move into.
It's not old, it's not new, but it's got trees and stuff around and the neighbourhood is pretty good.

Ok, seriously. If the weather is right, today I will make some photos of Cluj with the better parts.

I suppose you mean Mathias the Corvin's. I hope you don't expect Vel to come with a pic of Michael the Brave. ;)
