It's a boy!!

Unread postby asandir » 09 Jan 2007, 12:34

Well he made it .... in the end very different to how we had planned, it ended up as an induction at the hospital, due to some liver function issues, but at 18:18 WDST (GMT +9hrs) 09/01/2007 our second son was born into this world!

For those to whom this stuff matters, he was 8 pounds and just under 12 ounces .... *phew* and 3.96kg .... a very long baby at 56cms .... the birth went well, no pain relief and it was a water birth .... a first for us

So there you have it, no name as yet, but we will get there, Mel is well, if somewhat tired and quite sore in the important bits, but that, also is normal ....

So that's it, I'm now heading back to the hospital, will hopefully be here-abouts a little from time to time, but expect me to be a tad more scarce then usual :D

WOW!

Congratulations! Children are such a wonderful blessing. They make even a grumpy old wizard smile. :)

Of course when they get older they will make your hair turn grey and fall out...that is what you don't pull out. :)

We'll take care of the boards meanwhile. I hope you'll have a little time to return to talk to us. A child takes a load of time, you see. :D I know because I'm an uncle (5 times), and I had to babysit one and another. :baby:

Great, congratulations Stefan! :-D Hopefully he'll be relaxed enough until he grows up a bit but it's a long shot!
I, for one, am dying to find out what colour they paint Michael's toenails.

I'm pretty sure he already was, this being their 2nd son and all.
