Spin the Skill Wheel Again

Unread postby Angelspit » 21 Nov 2006, 03:28

<a href="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/520"><img src="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/images ... lwheel.jpg" align=right vspace=10 hspace=10></a>I am sure you will be thrilled to learn that the <a href="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/520"><b>Skill Wheel</b></a>, one of the most popular features of this site, has been updated based on version 1.4 and 2.0. All Dwarven skills have been added by <b>Aurelain</b>, who worked until the late hours of the night, without the help of Ubisoft or Nival. Not only are the <a href="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/646">French</a> and the <a href="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/645">German</a> versions of the utility available as well, but we are proud to unveil the brand new <a href="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/648">Spanish</a> and <a href="/https://www.celestialheavens.com/647">Italian</a> localizations of the utility. Now you can curse your hot seat partner in multiple languages. How cool is that?

Browse the various Wheels online or download them at your convenience -- look for a link at the bottom of the appropriate page.

Most probably the most useful fan made utility ever in the series. Kudos to Aurelain, who envisioned and created it! :hail: :applause:

Very nice. :)
Frodo: "I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened."
Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."

Hmm, I found a few errors with the skill wheel.

When the hero is changed to Ranger, the skill wheel does show the skill set for the Sylvan hero but the ‘title’ is Necromancer. It is just a minor error but just to take note.

Also, this has been mentioned already, there are two Arcane Brilliance perk for Demon Lord’s Sorcery. I believe it should be Soulfire.

But nonetheless, a must-have when playing the game.

One thing that should be updated - The Ranger's ultimate description should be changed to include the impact of the Dwarven ultimate (just as the Dwarven ultimate notes the effect of the Ranger's)

Flash 7.0 is the highest version I can use ....

(the same for other people using GNU/Linux as their OS )

Could some admin of celestialheavens please at least put up the old skill wheel that worked with flash 7.0 ????

The wheel is designed for Flash 6. I don't understand what the problem could be. Did the old skillwheel work on your exact same configuration? Also, did you try Flash 9 for Linux?

val-gaav,

try checking for the old skillwheel here:

https://www.celestialheavens.com/homm5/skillwheel/

As far as English goes I only see the .exe version for the old wheel, which I don't think helps you being on Linux??
