Crusard or Dalai, I feel like doing next try :) I suppose you remember me
(should you not, click the link below)
(viewtopic.php?t=1489&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=30)

and I have a little time now. And what's most important, I'm really willing to do it :) Is there any building to make? I think I will make something really awesome :)
So: what's needed? I can make it promptly at your respond.

Try to make a potion-and-minor-artifacts shop.

Maybe somthing more sophisticated (like altar sending goods from gods) or something a little more casual like average shop?

Starting to bargain? :)
It's not that easy to create a good shop while preserving style. Player has to be able to guess the meaning of an object. It should fit other objects perfectly.

If you are...

a programmer;
an artist/graphics designer ;
a mapmaker;
a translator

I have experience in programming (C++, Visual Basic) And I'm realy good in HTML, PHP and Javascripts, and yeeesss Heroes 5 scripting and modding.

I can use many graphics editors, like Photoshop, Oriens Enhancer 3.0, Image Brodway....... Paint.NET

And yes I can translate the game in bulgarian for the bulgarian fans.

I'm really not good in mapmaking...

I can create sounds effects, like hit, break, shout, or other.

Finally, I have not good amounts of free time, but some days I really have it (and yes I have nothing to do during it like now) every Saturday I'll be free to do something and in some other days too.

If you need me, contact me :-D by sending a message in this forum.

Hi,

if necessary i could help in translating to german, but only english to german, for i don't know russian.

I'm also very experienced in C (about 30 years experience in that), C++, HTML, XML, XSL and some other things, but unfortunately do not have much time. So it probably would not be of great use to get involved in these aspects. Just translating into german i think (hope) i can get managed.

I have by all means absolutely no talent in graphics and/or sound :(

Hello there, I want to help the project, but I'm not sure how I can.
I can program in C and Java, hope that can be of any use to you.

I also have way too much time on my hands, and I can learn quickly, if I don't have the required skills yet.

If you are...
  • a gamer, and like to play Heroes IV, you can provide us with invaluable help just by testing out the mod. First of all, we wish to know how more playable is the game Heroes when opposing a human - are there still any balance or gameplay issues. But we also value any feedback, support and constructive criticism alike.
If you are...
  • a programmer;
    an artist/graphics designer ;
    a mapmaker;
    a translator,
and you wish to help - tell us!

Unfortunately, we cannot offer you anything for your help, except for moral satisfaction from the work done and respect from the Heroes-IV community.
I am a translator (English <-> Russian) and I am willing to help if needed.

Small scale - texts proofreading. Big scale - campaigns translation. Which scale is yours? :D

There will be a good chunk of work for C/C++ programmers soon. We are framing it now.

I could work on the translation to brazilian portuguese, if it's of your interest and there isn't one already. About a year ago (if memory serves)I read some posts about it here. Don't know if the people that worked on it finished it.
Anyways, just let me know.

2 all programmers

Does anyone have good experience of working with non-professional customer? What I mean is "translating" from normal language to programmers' language. Something like "I want this button here and that red button there to do stuff nicely" -> "this module should do that and that, requres this and this and can be used by this many other modules".

The description of the task is mostly ready in "normal language", it needs to be translated, cut down into pieces and assigned to different people.

Is anything still going on in here? What's the latest on the development of 3.6?

Anyway, I could handle the english->french translation if that's not already been done. I am a very good translator, although I don't have the original french version of the game, which might help a bit to maintain consistency.

How many pages of text is there?
