The trailer is pompous but rather pointless in my opinion — it looks more like a Diablo video than anything related to Heroes.

Well I was impressed by it.

It reminded me of the NWN intro for some reason.

I have to admit - you've gotta go to some lengths to produce an original and exciting trailer these days. But with all hype recently, I'm jumping at any new HOMM V tidbit Ubisoft throws us. But I do think the Dragon at the end of the movie is gonna raise an eyebrow or two.

No, I'm not suited with this. Firstly it is a stupid thing to release a CGI movie when most of the players are waiting for the gameplay footage. And if it goes for the movie itself, well I think it is rather good, but it has no climate of the Heroes series...

Yeah, if they are going to release a movie, it should be about the gameplay, so this way we get more insight.

It's not very impressive. The design is quite different than the in-game screenshots (dark/grim for the CG trailer and colorful/cartoon for the game) and it looks fast-made (mainly the fight between the angel and the devil). I hope it's not actually the intro movie...
