Yeah, I really hate to skip the trumpet quest as on several occasions those two months overlap with my training and then it's too late. Usually I train my party immediately 10-20 levels so it's easy to miss the trumpet quest. Independent Harmondale is so much cooler.

Unless your party members start to randomly shout "Baa" or "Moo", I suppose there are no other penalties.

If honestly, I don't care - in the past 10 years or so I have read just 1 manual (Morrowind). Of course, Ubi's official concern for the environment is funny to say the least.

The record is 5 days IIRC. Meaning, you finish before 9 am and it doesn't count as a day.

I always thought that wizard is meant to me a good mage while sorceror and conjurer - bad. In M&M games it's different though.

I probably played them in the best possible order - first MM8, then MM7 and MM6 and finally MM9. The default party is the best for a newbie/casual player. Knight will be your tank, thief will disarm chests, cleric for protection magic and sorcerer for offensive/transport magic.

Aye, and with the editor nullify all stats, remove all equipment and start at level 0 - done that in MM6 and was loads of fun and challenge.

IIRC it's really nothing more than just a jump. You can watch some video walkthroughs on Youtube - the only thing you have to worry about is falling down.
