Well I don't think that the heroes transform the terrain. It's just that they leave a trace, just as the human Heroe leave some kind of light trace. I guess that with the pass of days that trace will get dissappeared.

About the music, it was the same we could hear in the first video. According to Fabrice it's a combat theme but NOT composed by Rob King. I don't know however if that means that the theme is not from H5 or that others composers are working in the music score besides Rob King.

Well I really doubt that 3DO had anything to do with the world destruction or Nicolai story in M&M9. For once I must say it was all NWC fault and not 3DO.

Yes DA is right, the units were the BIG problem with the Forge. I'm not saying that I liked the concept of the town anyway, (at least not for HOMM), but the units were just a total unimaginative and laughable cr**.

I wouldn't be so sure about heroes specialities. The answer wasn't very specific and later he said nothing about heroes being unique. Perhaps he didn't undertand the question with the meaning of H3 like specialities but something else. The idea of flexible battlemap size keep scarnig me unless the s...

I was expecting much more info. This all hype with E3 has resulted in a big dissapointment for me. We get more info from leaked screenshots than from Ubi itself.

And why didn't you asked my question? :P, (or more people question about number of unit levels in towns).

Not in Etherlords 1 at least Angelspit. All damage and attacks were made by "creatures" or direct damage spells. Changed this in Ehterlords 2?. However I agree with you. According to what we've already read combat will be very similar to H3 but heroes will have some special "attacks&q...

I doubt Nicolai is "our" Nicolai. Otherwise his father would be Roland and it's said that he sacrificed himself to end with the demon menace, something that doesn't really happen in HOMM3 and expansions nor in M&M7 and 8. Besides Roland wasn't the Griffin King at all, in that case it c...

Good to read about the optional animations and camera close-ups. Looks very good this way. Nobody dislikes some eye candy but up to some point. I know I'll play hundreds of games in single and multiplayer and the in the 200th game you will be a bit fed up with close-ups :P.

I hope the lack of interface is just because it's still in alpha state or that they don't want to show much yet, (because frankly, we don't know much more about the game now than before the E3).

I hope the close camera movement in combat is optional because that may be fun a few times, but soooo boring after you've played some games. Overall it still looks good to me except perhaps the camera movements and position, and the scalable battle map. Good to read it from Mullich, he certainly kno...

I think it only suggest that graphically looks like Etherlords, not gameplay. I really doubt this game will have anything to do with Etherlords except that.

By the way: "We will have pictures up soon, and a transcript of the discussion in a few days." I thought we would be getting some info yesterday or today :(. I hope the few days are the less possible because right now he haven't got all that much info we were supposed to have in E3. I can'...
