It's simple really, let's take sylvan. H4 one had no retaliation sprites, double attacking wolves, first striking tigers or elves, bliding unicorns or always retaliating griffins and absolutely amazing phoenixes or kinda nice faerie dragons.. Plus creature portal where the only choices seemed to be ...

I only played hotseat back then but remember well enough the possibilities, combat had less options and variety. Its only 'advantage' was possibility of more than one heroes on the battlefield.

Umm H5 offered a LOT more tactical possibilities than H4 ever could. All it took was returning the town's units to 7, giving them all interesting specials and having alternative upgrades. If you see some good replays you'd be amazed at the depth of the game.

I'm sure you'd dislike making a game that sells poorly. As much as you'd like people to screw you over by pirating it. I haven't been a saint myself but seriously?
