Thanks Yurian. It is a team effort by Jim Vogan and I. We certainly have been busy with it. We currently have 250 maps up on the 13 pages of maps, as of this date. We have all 5 maps of "The Arena" series translated and up now. The latest and last of the series, Dracons Home, is on page 13...

Great work, Sal. How should they be used? As troops, as commanders or hero replacements?

I have the 3DO games of H1 to H4 running well on Win 7 Home edition. I never used administrator and I never had to switch compatibility either. Old games run well with Win 7 on my laptop. I don't like the paint program that comes with it though. I use the XP one instead. :)

More Spelling errors on maps have been corrected and uploaded. 100 Ghost Dragons, Highlander, Gnollandia, Barbaric Invasion, Campaign Against Zeus, The Last Elementalist, and a few others I can't recall off hand. The rest of the maps should be error free. :)

You should give more details, what exploitation system you have, memory (important, isn't it, BB? :D ), where you downloaded wog, what version of Heroes you have (AB is not enough, you need SOD or complete). Memory helps...yes. Older systems have a problem with all the newer things coming out. You ...

On Map Archives 1, there is a Grigor Minchev folder. I would guess that would be a good place to put reviews for his maps. You could start a new folder in the Files section titled Reviews and put them in there. That's a good idea! :D

He was/is one of the pioneers of making maps for H3. True, there is no stories in his maps, but they are so incredible to play, that a story by him in his maps would seem like a non Minchev map to me. He seems like he would rather have you on your toes rather than anything else. He's a master for do...

Nice contribution, there are maps i have never seen in there; you guys rock doing this. ;) Thanks Ojcar. It's comments like that, that keeps us translating more maps. We now have over 200 maps translated, meaning we are halfway through where we want to be. The next 200 should be just as entertainin...

That's right, but to make a minimap from scratch, it still has to be done the good old fashioned way. :)
I thought one may be able to extract an H4 minimap using the H4 util, but I've never done this with it. Is it possible?

It would be nice to have a more simplified way of making them, but if there is a program for this, I am unaware of it. :(

Welcome to the Round Table Skeeve. :) Minimaps are made, not extracted. Open up the map with the map editor, then press Print Screen. Then open up MS Paint, select paste. Now use the Select button and cut a square where the map appears. Afterwards, "Save As' whatever map you want. Then open the...

As soon as the map is available I will put it up and let everyone know that it's up. Who could've forseen a problem between the German and English versions? Don't beat yourself over the head, Koni. Anyone could have missed it because it's something you just don't expect. :D

I don't believe a word when you say "from chinese" :) I started translating from chinese and there is no way. Even Jim told me that he gave up. I've already done two of them. It takes a little patience, but I've been able to translate them. Chinese maps are actually easier to translate th...

Excelent, maybe the team will also translate HOMM4 maps, Fragile World for example. I'm looking forward. Yes! We will eventually get around to translating H4 maps. But for this year, anyway, we plan on concentrating on H3 maps. Mainly because they are more popular than H4, and because we have so ma...
