I suppose they could be implemented by swapping out the originals with the new ones you found. I guess your answer lies in the source code why the're not used.

And I suppose with a little ERM scrtpting they could be used along with the originals.

I think DEFka backs up both lod files so that you can use the originals again.

Do not convert your files to pcx. Leave them as bmp and upload the bmp using MMArchive into bitmap.lod and they automatically turn into pcx. I know, I had the same problem. But it works.

To pack DEFs, simply take a .wog file, convert it to rar. Then you can extract what you want from there.

That's a pity. Going to your site was like waking up Christmas morning. Hope you get a comp soon so you can put more creatures up again. It's a good site.

No ..... Thank you for your great contributions! You keep making 'em and I'll put them up. :D

Same goes for anyone who improves H3 or WoG. Make your files bug free, crash free, and easy to use, and I'll post it on the page for everyone to use.

EDIT: Added the Mod "Heroes of Light."

I have put together a page of great Mods, Add ons and Utilities for HoMM 3 and WoG. You can access it from here or you can access it from the main page on Celestial Heavens in the Expansion section of the HoMM 3 page.

Wejcome to the CH forums sigil. I suppose you could play the games in series. That's one way to do it. A lot depends on your system. If it was me, I'd go heroes II then III and so on. Heroes I does'nt give a whole lot of story but introduces you to the mechanics of HoMM. HoMM II picks up the story p...

I really love this site!! Between this site and Packa, I've replaced close to 70 creatures in HoMM3 alone.

The translation does not affect the scripting. If it dtd, the map simply would'nt play.

I tried the links you said you have problems with. Everything takes you where you're supposed to go. Remember, Yahoo is a group site. You have to join the group or groups to get to the maps and tools. They're located in the 'Files' section in the box to the left. It's all free and takes about 2 minu...

All the Pride maps you're asking about can be found on the Map Archives. Just click my signature and it'll take you to the Map Achives index. All of them should be on Archives I, but getting II would also put you on the safe side. ;)

Thanks Yurian. It is a team effort by Jim Vogan and I. We certainly have been busy with it. We currently have 250 maps up on the 13 pages of maps, as of this date. We have all 5 maps of "The Arena" series translated and up now. The latest and last of the series, Dracons Home, is on page 13...

I have the 3DO games of H1 to H4 running well on Win 7 Home edition. I never used administrator and I never had to switch compatibility either. Old games run well with Win 7 on my laptop. I don't like the paint program that comes with it though. I use the XP one instead. :)

More Spelling errors on maps have been corrected and uploaded. 100 Ghost Dragons, Highlander, Gnollandia, Barbaric Invasion, Campaign Against Zeus, The Last Elementalist, and a few others I can't recall off hand. The rest of the maps should be error free. :)
