Hard for me to answer that as I always play Fighter class trying to become Blackguard. Evil is good in NWN only. But I hope you get the answer you seek ...

Been a while translating text for me, so bear with me. I extract all text from a map. I copy all text and paste it in the Google translator, (Or paragraphs at a time due to word limits) if MS Office does not have the required fields for translating from one language to another. The text has to be ex...

Hope to have pics of the happy event. Getting married in a little church out in the sticks. She was born in North Carolina, which means we'll have a Tarheel wedding. Southern Fried Chicken, Bisquits and Gravy, Green Beans with Bacon and Onions, etc. ( Please leave Shotguns outside of Church!) 8|

Celestial Heavens Under New Management

Wow! I just learned of this today. (A day late and a dollar short.) Hopefully Christian will still come around and entertain us with his presence once in a while. Good luck to you Kalah, and I hope everything not only stays the same, but gets better. For that's what CH has been to me. Only better ev...

Hopefully, since it's hard for me lately to put them into the CH database, someone will put them up on our H2 mapsite as well for all to get in the future.

Yeah. That will take a little time wading through all that. But once I get my Win 7 right with H3, I'll look through it and select some maps to translate. I have MS Office and use Google Translator and my imagination. Two out of three ain't bad. :D

Actually, the amount of downloads I am seeing for H2 maps are rather astronomical for as old as the game is. Meaning, it's just one of those timeless games that'll be around forever. It's doing quite well. If we can get the campaign, we'll post it here and over on H2 Archives. That way, no one would...

Thanks benbird for the marvelous help you provided. Hopefully more English speaking people will play more Chinese maps as I find them beautiful and just downright fun to play.
There are not enough Chinese maps IMO, but hopefully more will make it into the mainstream soon. Thank you!

Man I don't know about that. It sounds more conflicting rather than a solution. It's like playing poker and betting the house on a pair of threes against what the dealer holds, smilimg. All my other Heroes games run smooth. Even Civ III and NWN. All designed for XP. Some games older. Some newer. Was...

You would think drivers are the problem, but I ran a device manager update online for every driver. All came up 'Up to Date.'
Now, I'm at a loss. HoMM3/WoG is sliping away from me. Not by choice.

Thanks to Jim Vogan helping me getting H3/WoG working permanently without crashing on the Win 7 64 bit OS now, I will be putting up more maps soon. Jim Vogan gave me a tip that let me play 2 and a half hours before I got out of the game myself. Copy your HoMM3/WoG folder from your XP machine. Do not install HoMM3 or WoG on your Win 7 64 bit system. Put your copied HoMM3/Wog folder from your XP machine into C/username/documents/3DO. So far, this...

For one, the new WoG Interface is not scripted. They simply are dropped in the zvs lib folder. As far as the New Interface goes, it's not scripted either. Those files are either directly put in the h3sprite or bitmap Lods, or in the data folder itself. You could contact the makers of this product at...
