My choice would be either HOMM 3 (or 4) or a Might & Magic game. Since I've been playing these games over & over & over since the early 1990's I already feel like I've been playing them for a lifetime!!

I just love those little caravans zooming around. I think the graphics overall has improved greatly in the expansion Hammers of Fate.

I hated Heroes V when I first started playing. It seemed to be the hardest of all the series to warm up to, but now I'm back to the late nights, poor eating habits, poor sleeping patterns & reduced social interactions to play the game. I just love it now!!!!!!

I always save before I have to dig so a day is not lost, but sometimes it takes a couple of goes before I find it so I just reload that last saved game & move the hero around a bit & then I try again. It seems it has to be exactly on the right spot.

you have a 100 peasents, right? so 100/20 is 5. you have 5 gremlins. then 100/4 is 25. 25 hunters. 25/5 is 5 so you have 5 times more hunters than gremlins. then 100/2 is 50 so you have 50 imps. AHA!!! I get it (I think). Its hard to believe I was good at Maths at school (A long time ago though..) ...

That combination of creatures didn't work for me so I guess I'm doing something wrong. I thought there had to be more Hunters:

"Hunters can't stand Gremlins and will fight only if there are 5 times more Hunters than Gremlins in the army"

Yes, the game crashes heaps for me but I AM using a 4 year old computer (which is "past it's used by date" in the computer world) & my video card is only a 64MB AGP GeForce 3 Ti 200.
