I don't mean to be rude, but new town ideas are popping up all over the place, and few, if any, will ever come to life. Nothing personal, but this seems like one of the worst ideas. :x I'm sick of all these half-baked ideas, so instead of coming up with more or less good ideas for additional towns, ...

Sneaky Little Mapses: We Wants It!

I'm just a little bit disappointed that all the maps require HoF. Oh well, I could always repaly some old goodies...

Castle - Played it exclusively in the beginning. It's easy to identify with humans with aid from the heavens, isn't it? Rampart - Beautiful landscape and soothing music. I wish I lived there! Only one ranged unit makes this town bad for my playing style. Tower - My favourite; lots of ranged and magi...

Very interesting - I was always puzzled by the order of action. Thank you so much for putting time and effort into this, so that this mystery is finally solved! :hail:

This just had to come. I mean, new version of Window$, new problems with the MM games! :) In the end, I bet we won't be able to play them at all. :nervous:

What got me addicted to HoMM4 was the skill system. Ah, the thrill of building a super hero killing machine! :-D I've played it since the day I got it. In the beginning I thought it was totally inferior to HoMM3, but I got the hang of it. The original campaigns are one of the game's best features, e...

Looking good

It seems to me that this is one of the more promising Heroes projects going on. You've made your own website, which seems fairly professional, and the screen shots look good for this stage of development. :hail: The music is good, too. The only weak point seems to be the storyline, as it seems to be...

Voted H3 angel. Looks like an angel, without oversized sword, and no bulky armour, so the flying ability gets more plausible.

H3 basic. Love the scythe and the horns. H4 is just stupid, and H5 is, as usual, overdone.

This is the easiest town to pick out a favourite for. It's Heroes 3, no doubt about it. The Wizard town has to be located in a cold climate, that rules out H2 and H5. Besides, a town should be located on ground, not 3000 metres above the surface! :nervous: H3 is the best, and anyone who says anythin...

An 8 from me. Despite the dull AI, imbalances and boring town screens, I truly enjoyed it. New features added, like the caravan, heroless armies, armyless heroes and the skill system makes it worthwhile to play.

I'll give my vote to the original here. The bright white castle and the dwellings give real Sorceress-y feel to it. The Heroes 2 Sorceress town is a bit too cluttered to be a nature town, and H5's giant tree defies the laws of physics. Heroes 3 comes second. I like how the buildings blend into the f...

It's Heroes 2 again for me. It gives a real medieval look, and it's not too shiny (H3), boring (H4) or unrealistic (H5). H1 is good, but perhaps a bit too colourful.

This is a close race between H2 and H3, but in the end I'd go for the Warlock (H2) town. The mist, the waterfall and the castle gives it a unique atmosphere. H3 is best of the underground towns. Those huge statues in H5 are just way too unrealistic (and commmercial). In H3, it as though you're actua...
