The German version ("Gesang des Totengeistes" - wow, this sounds cool) is available on my webpage (address in the sig) too.

Meanwhile on the CH there are much more than a thousand downloads of this scenario. I'm really pleased.

Re: Limitations of the Map Editor

1. Is there any way I can give the player in the quest hut a variable number of creatures, without doing a lot of ifs (I'm talking hundreds...) 2. Is there anyway to display an unknown numeric variable on screen ? (It will be known only on runtime) (again, without doing hundreds of ifs). In the cas...

I have no special requests for H5 editor. Whatever it is i will try to test its limits. I have already planned my first Heroes V map - it will be called "Free Masons". :D

New Maps: The Wraith and the Apprentice

Yeah... It was my third attempt to make a map on that ground.

The first two were total failures. But it looked too well to be abandoned.

No way. Castles in corners were one of key concept of this map and I was unable to stabilize this situation. Sigh.

Humakt wrote:I had similar problem 3 years ago. It had to do with starting towns being too close to the map's edges/corners. The problem disappeared when I moved the towns towards the center of the map.
I had this too, and it ruined one of my map that stayed unpublished because of that. :(

AFAIK this cloak just negates the penalty to the hero movement if he is withing an enemy unit's range on the battlefield.

Even if a few player's choises might be influenced by a few mapmaker names, this is not a general rule. I agree here. Moreover - some people like maps of a certain mapmaker (and thus they download any new map of this creator) and some other don't like that style and ignore subsequent maps of this c...
