I think SC is a good addition but like said, gets useless once you conquer another town and you need troop from the main base but is farther then the conquered base. Maybe what would be more usefull would be the a dimension door that would allow you to enter and exit in front of a town (by choice at...

Sounds like all hell has broken loose after you guys installed the patch. Luckily (for me) I haven't done that yet, maybe I should wait for the v1.3 patch to fix the issues caused by the v1.2 patch. Dammit Nival, why?

@DallasMavs; I don't think that will happen. Heroes V fell of the list of top ten in the begining of July. The sales represent the whole of June. Heroes V can only go down the list. Unless by some strange miracle people will start buying Heroes V for some reason en masse.

@ RussianSpy; If you installed the v1.1 update it should be in the Heroes V start menu folder.

It was a decent game, fun gamepay but a bit short. I still love the skeleton warriors in CoMM they were spot on. You're right about the combat system, copy-cats...

@Marcus; Good question I do not know. To be on the safe side install them both. I hope you're not on dial-up. You can always download v1.1 after you download v1.2, but I think you'd need to install them with v1.1 first.

I'd definately recommend getting the Final Chapters, the two campaigns are quite good, though the ending a bit painfull. But you better find out yourself. But $89 is WAY too much for that just one disc. I bought the whole set of the four original Chronicles + the Final Chapters for 10 euro each two ...

Wow, ten different v1.2 patches for ten different Heroes V's, must take some time to get all those files done and translated, no wonder it took a while.

IMO Heroes V was a juggernaut title too. Of all the top games listed here I've only played Heroes. But there is nothing like good sales to start milking the cow for all its worth. Long Live Heroes VI indeed, and M&MX, and Crusaders of M&M II. OK so that last one is a joke, should never ever ...

Although HoMM IV is not such a bad game, I think it was just too different from the time proven methods of the previous three. Although some changes were cool additions others were not. I do believe Nival made the right choice to go the Heroes III way but they could have added some of the good aspec...

Why even bother with gender during MP, how would you actually find out the persons true gender anyway? For all you know, I could be a woman, I'm not though... No really... But its good to get to learn how women experience the games differently or similarly then us guys, it adds more dimension to the...
