Re: Chess

Yeah and that's the excitement; if the same guy wins everything all the time - sure, it's impressive, but it gets dull in the end.

Re: Chess

I watched all the championship matches; it was good to see MC winning the proper chess again, yet I was hoping he'd take all three. I guess having some other guys winning too keeps the excitement up.

Re: Another Ubisoft product bites the dust?

That's why I'm really hoping they don't make "The Witcher" into a film You are 14 years too late! To be honest, there also is a TV series (13 episodes) and it was based on books (film was really TV series cut to 2h). I knew that, actually, and those both suck harder than a black h...

Re: Should I buy Heroes VII?

Basically, the game is a decent purchase when on a 50% discount from its starting price; you get quite a lot of play time in the campaigns and single maps.

If, however, you're looking to play multiplayer, buy something else.

Re: Civlization VI

I'll probably buy it for Christmas, even if the tech tree is messed up as Ethric says. Hearing about the game has made me want to play Civ IV again, though, so I think I'll reinstall that one.

Re: Masters of Sighisoara - a whole new continent!

One .zip file with all the maps would be good. Set up as a campaign where you can actually play them one after another. Carryover heroes possible? Also, the .zip should contain a single readme with all the info you need, rather than lots of individual files.

Re: Talk about the weather

It's been snowing all day and the night before. Gotta go out and shovel more snow. The weird thing is, despite news shows blasting their "Snow coming tomorrow! Get winter tires on the car!" messages 24/7, lots of people were still surprised by the 'sudden' snow fall. Idiots. Her...

Just FYI: I don't come here as often as I used to anymore, so it may be a good idea to collect fixes in larger updates; hotfixes aren't really what I can do.

Re: The Hunger Games Map in H7

Sounds like fun - depending on the size, we could probably set up some kind of hosting service, like a torrent or something. Or maybe the Steam thing works?
