The Heroes Round Table

I'm an intermediate player and was completely unable to finished the 3rd map. Lysander's so powerful I gotta hide in my castle until the Kreegans come, after which they wipe me out. The few times I beat Lysander, he came right back with an equally powerful army.

I bought the game and there's no manual. Tutorial was extremely limited. Where can I find a manual?

@ elvin: sure! Had the cert for MM2. I don't remember if MM3 and 4 had a cert.



Perhaps MMX should have a cert for old times sake.

Still have my MM1 certificate. Rest were lost to the ravages of time...

I just tried the demo and tis awesome! Can't wait for the full version!!!!!

@ angelspit: I too remember the Ultima maps. I also remember that the headless were often found in the mountains close to Britain and always had good treasure.

I got the utility to run. Now the utility won't accept my HOF path because I don't have "user.cfg", only "user_a1.cfg". How do I get around this? I even tried copying user_a1.cfg and renaming to user.cfg. An email to the programmer bounced back, so does anyone know what's going o...

I downloaded the utility from the Maps4Heroes link given in the article.

When I tried to install the program, I had many blank buttons. I just clicked where the "install" buttons tends to be. Anyone see this too?

Hm. I have the current Equilibris mod and the map keeps crashing during town randomization. Ah well...

I don't see a watchtower.

Is the watchtower the site of the ritual?

Wurtzel, I tried to find a way to teleport to the south continent but was unable to. Guess I didn't find that sweet spot.

I've not seen a watchtower, nor do I know what to do next as I've covered everything I possibly can.

Well, I found the last stack, hidden beneath a tree and cleared the puzzle map. The location doesn't correspond with anything I can see on the map, and the hero location doesn't seem to show on the map...

I've found 6 magi towers but the magi objective remains unfulfilled. I've scoured everything except the area past the shadow witches that are too numerous to kill.

I'm stuck now. Any suggestions?

Pitsu, I figured my email might have gotten into your spam folder. :( The cheat codes don't seem to work after installing HoF. The cheat code line is still in autoexec.cfg, post-install. I'll download your map again. I live in Colorado so would have used a western server. I downloaded your map right...

Anyone played this map? I need the boots of levitation but cannot get to them at all. The building is closed off, and the author hasn't responded to the email I sent a few weeks ago.

Pretty nice map but the game stopper is no fun...
