When will Book 3 be out?

KB is random so I couldn't get all that before time was up. I played on the C64. Where can I find the PC version?

A or D for me. Anyone ever finish KB? I never could and be strong enough to defeat the end boss. Forget what it was now. Was one of my 1st computer games, with Phantasie, Pool of Radiance and Bard's Tale

I frequented astral wizard's site and was very sorry to see it go. The owner whose name I forget, seems to have kept the domain. I checked last year, I think, when I was feeling some nostalgia.



CH has been a good successor to astral's site!

I do miss NWC and Origin still I think Sirtech is still around. M&M, Ultima, and Wizardry will always be the top 3 games, for me.

I followed instructions in the readme file and removed the first LoTA file before installing the new LoTA file. When I try to load the Black Sails campaign, the file doesn't load and the game stays at the HoF screen. I played Fires of the North Book 2 in the hopes that finishing said campaign would ...

Read me only mentions removing the first LoTA file and putting the 5 maps in the H5 maps folder. I still cannot access The Black Sails.

Interestingly, the first Sunken Kingdom campaign hangs at HoF's opening screen (with the defender and thane). I've LoTA v 2.0 and HoF 2.1. I can open both Fires from the North books.

I'm puzzled. I have LOTR_data v2.5 running HoF but the campaign looks like book 1. Fires from the North is the 1st 2 campaigns, Sunken Kingdom is 3rd.

There's Legacy of the Ancients...

Who has tried this? Might get it if I get a WM device.

What version of heroes is the mod for?

Got the map from rapidshare and followed Lombardic's instructions above. I didn't see a "Sareth" or "DM" map in Custom Game or User Campaign. What's the map name?

Look at it this way. Berserkers have no armor, and are well-known and -reputed for devastation. Therefore it makes sense to kill them quickly. Its the same as my trying to kill off spellcasters and arbalesters quickly. Genies are spellcasters as well.

Is there a way to get rid of the time limit in battles? The ability to get up to do something (or go to work) in the middle of battle and come back has always been a huge thing for me (especially with kids!). I've set the time limit to unlimited but even user made maps have that time limit. TIA infael

Yes to both. Ubisoft refused to tell me where I could put user-made maps.
