The Heroes Round Table

I want the sheet music! My favorite part of Heroes is the music. I still play Heroes II just to reexperience it.

I think that 24 years rounds to 20.

I've already joined Team King's Bounty.



I do feel bad about that, though.

I'm all for it, since they give us crappy useless manuals anyway.

I think you should have to use the wii remote like coconuts to make your horse gallop.

Has to be Moria, allessander, it's right next to Rivendell in the pic.

It's also worth pointing out that the game uses three colors: red, blue, and yellow, and not green or purple! So it's perfectly playable by those of you like me who are color blind.

The game's a lot of fun! They did a good job. It reminds me a lot of Etherlords II with matching puzzles instead of cards games. The story line isn't terribly interesting -- basically the same as any JRPG you could name, but at least the characters aren't obnoxious punks like in Heroes V.

@Kalah: Surely that was 3DO's policy. The only difference I see is at least Ubi has been releasing finished games in different styles on different platforms.

But once you've played through it once there's no real reason to go back. Heroes II kind of just replaces it.

I have two accounts HodgePodge. I started a new one shortly after making the first one because I didn't like the race I'd chosen (I only realized later that you can change your race easily). And yes, I guess I should have said I rarely lost.

I agree with Loco. I played for a while but there was not enough to do. the best part about it was the inclusion of arcomage, but I kept being paired with beginners and never lost, so I gave up on that too.

Wow I'm drooling. It looks better than any of the actual might and magic games, graphically at least.

You say it doesn't work that way, and to me that sounds sexist. It sounds like you think only men care about nudity, and women must be protected from there sexual intentions.



This is exactly the form of sexism that has been plaguing the world since the middles ages.

Whereas I agree that the heroes in Heroes V are more sexually explicit than in previous Heroes games, which is regrettable, not in and of itself (as I don't have a problem with sex in games that aren't marketed to children), but merely because it's not in keeping with the spirit of Might and Magic, ...

Whether or not it's flat, I don't think the amount of days in a year, or the number of days per year or any thing like that would matter. It's definitely more along the lines of a space station than a planet and I suspect the sun and the seasons are both illusions. And furthermore from there.... Eve...

The worlds of Might and Magic I, II and III were all flat. If Colony is also flat it'd be as easy to figure out its size as to look at one of the maps that comes with the games.

The tougher creatures is my favorite new feature. Heroes IV's biggest problem is that it's too easy.

I think is a great game well deserving of a 9/10, however, I don't really see why reviewers think it's so much better than Heroes V, which I thought was also deserving of an equivalent or even slightly better score -- like a 9.5 maybe.

Or I guess I'm wrong there are no contest maps included. Rather i think it's the version of the mod that was released for the contest.
