yeah, thats why i put them last on the list, and why are war machines back?? oops forgot about h3 it doesn't make sense eveyone use the same 3 war machines that look the same, at least necropolis should use bone to make them. personally i think barbarians should be good at war machines to compesate ...

i think a pure might town should be barbarians, and not orcs, there nothing aganist orcs learning magic, they are just not very good at it (but they do have some shamans like the ogre mage) there barbarians don't learn magic because it's their way of life the barbarians would have bersekers/centaurs...

that's why there should be random upgrades - only those that makes sense

e.g. most of the human ones

EDIT: come to think of it maybe upgrades should be a human specialty instead of trainig, training don't make too much sense.

upgrading most creatures don't make much sense.

Maybe for you. For me its not that hard. Like I said, I got used to it. as you sure you never make any mistake? because in h3 it would be impossible to make such mistakes since the grids are huge, and i play without the grids even if you don't you'll have to be MUCH more careful which is very annoy...

i wonder why rashakka don't have 3 way attack, maybe it's because naga didn't have that ability in h3 and you know what that means

i guess what i am trying to say is it's hard to always get things exact (since it's harder to count the sqaures), sometime i check an enemy stack's movement shadow and it looks like they won't be able to reach some particular square, so i move my stack to that sqaure and next turn that enemy attacks...

that's why cyclops should be lv 7 so you can't get 200 easily

an army consisting entirely of captains is still weird... there will be no one to take orders :sceptic:

as there are so many directions, often it becomes unclear, sometimes it looks as if the shooter next to my stack is shooting them directly in their face! but as you say, it's the stupid camera i find that in h4 it's not easy to always place your stacks exactly where you want, sometimes i try to cove...

h4 was wierd, i rarely play with the grids on as i find it visually annouying, they tried to make creatures take up "circular" areas and since and the sqaures are so small, even melee creatures has some "range" and it's hard to get your stack right next to an enemy stack without ...

Thelonious wrote:Anyways, yeah that cyclops upgrade needs a better name, but you think of one. And the balance could indeed be better. And though that giving the bite attack to the Wargraiders as well would make 'em to cheesy.
what's wrong with good old cyclops king?

i don't think there will be enough dragons bones in supply, since the necromancers also use them, so the red dwarves secretly use metals instead of dragon bones and still chrage to wizards the same price, and use your arguement to get away with it ;)
