Maybe, yes. But order magic isn't at all that strong in direct damage spells. Perhaps you should compare +10% for hypnotize with +10% for all fire magic spells :) You cant (and should not) equalize out anything. For balancing issues i'd like to implement a point system. Any class which is based on two skills should get bonuses worth 3 points (just to give a number. Maybe anything between 2 and 6 points). Each point then equals a +1 in morale, speed, attack, defense or whatever, or +10% in whatever. Addition...

The idea of levelled blacksmith could be nice. But i don't agree with selling artifacts other than items. Spell scrolls: A nice idea would be to add any spell to the ogre mages if they carry the appropriate scroll. Not increasing their spell points, though. Could be interesting and sometimes surpris...

Just an idea: I never go for a demonologist. You need death magic and nature magic to become one. So with nature magic you get summoning sooner or later. With summoning you get small amounts of nature creatures on a daily basis. To get a consistent army you always have to convert them. Not that fun....
