If I'm not mistaken the performance takes a big hit in tree-infested maps. Also, lowering every option to very low, no AA/AF doesn't help, you still get the stuttering when facing the rest of the map (even if it's hidden under the fog) Khelavaster A friend of mine who just got the game confirm this...

Regarding the performance: I found it to be highly inconsistent. I meet the minimum specifications for Ram and exceed them in CPU and GPU, yet at some times, the game is unplayable for me. Then at others, it runs acceptable. Especially bad are campaign maps (fourth mission of Inferno in particular)...

Because they want you to buy the game.WretchedGnu wrote:I understand why you shouldn't judge the game's AI based on the demo. But why on earth would they release a demo with absolutely no operating AI?

Re: Strategic AI + memory leak: Looks like we have a new Hom
. Oh and lets not forget how overpowered the academy is, they're powerful shooter unit the archmage, is well disgustingly strong. 30 of them, can easily take out 30 priests, but ontop of that they do damage to 4 surrounding squares, so it often decimates most of your troops. Then to top it off they...

Hey, it isn't fair to compare H4 with this piece of junk ! 1) H4 had at least some basic AI. 2) H4 was released with an editor and more than 16 maps. 3) H4 wasn't a H3 clone. 4) H4 needed no supercomputers to run decently on minimal detail. 5) H4 was at least userfriendly. You are so right... Frank...

Strategic AI + memory leaks: worrying stuff
Copied and pasted from warez forum: 1) Anyways from the custom game i played the AI was pretty shitty. Also the options for a custom game is shitty, you cant custom certain AI, nor can you make teams etc. Kinda stupid. Anyways in my custom game of 8 players, 2 AI got killed within first 5 odd turns(...

The only Nival game I played was Blitzkieg, and it plain sucked. Heavy and exceptionally ugly engine, NO A.I., and repetitive to death. Plus, having starforce as habit doesnt make them customer friendly. Lets talk straight, they nned to feed their family, thats the main reason why they accepted the ...

Nival is a Russian enterprise. I dont want to generalize, but as far as I studied, they have no regard for customers, they totally lack this concept, due to the long soviet screwage of economy. All they care for is salary. In the end, it was a bad move to hire them. Let them produce their mediocre s...

Its a real pity that the game was leaked, but it was normal. Everygame gets leaked. Age of empires3, made by the all-mighty Microsoft, was leaked 1 MONTH before the release. There's nothing we can do about it. Except expressing our gratitude to Ubi by buy their game. FC granted us all kinds of conce...
