To be fair, at least this video ran at decent fps, Kalah's one made me want to tear my eyeballs and really did a disservice to the game's engine!

You should try playing with your graphics card settings, so that the game shows in the middle 1024*768 with two vertical black stripes on both sides. It will look sharp and play perfect. I have a notebook from 2005 with exactly the same screen resolution. I can play Heroes 4 on it just fine. Thanks...

Too bad...the game was good and with Equilibris it is even better.

Unfortunately, the game not only looks blurry and stretched but it also looks like it runs at 5 fps, with almost invisible animations.

So, I've spent hours trying to run Heroes 4 at 1360x768, but all I got was a full screen with terrible stretching and very blurry.

Is there any working tweak?

I have to say that the whole game feels like a cheap Heroes 6.5, at least in the visual/art department, plus the horrendous performance.

Hope it will get MUCH better.

I suggest you beta guys start to complain like crazy about the performance.

Having a "static" game like that running so bad is simply ridiculous.

Kalah, I saw the video and you get about 15 fps in adventure map!
How can you say that it runs "fairly good"?

I could have a faster framerate by flipping through screenshots on gamespot.

If that's Ubi's optimization, then I am waiting for Heroes 8.

Please beta-testers, report some fps numbers if you can, including your system info and graphical settings!

Yeah, after a while that "choppy" feel seems to go away.

Also, is just my impression, or Christian the Knight has really lost his smartass smug lip twist in the HD version?

My fps issues might be related to the fact that my eyes haven't seen Homm3 in ages and they might be spoiled by modern 60 fps gaming. Were the animation always so "skippy"? It's most noticeable on windmills and other map animations. Other than that, I admit that the game looks great, and i...
