I like the way the skin details look like rippling water... you'd never see this creature staring up at you from just below the surface, ready to attack.

They look kind of Aztec, especially the upgrade.

...and yes, I've played the franchise devotedly since the original King's Bounty.



I simply care more about fun and the challenges of play than I ever have about the story line, though I know others can be sticklers for continuity.

Looks fine to me. Just be creative about creature abilities to make play interesting and varied, and I'll be happy. I just hope Heroes VI gives the battlefield itself more of a personality than previous versions... that, combined with creative creature abilities designed to solve various battlefield...

Odd, but I've no particular problem with the new creatures if game play is made interesting by creative creature abilities.

Look pretty cool... I wonder what kind of attack it will have? Triple with poison, perhaps? It's likely to be a hell of a lot more wicked than the lame Bone/Spectral Dragons ever were. Necro always had a weak 7th tier... perhaps this will make up for 1st tier Necro no longer having a ranged attack, ...

The breasts also seem to defy gravity... Makes me wish Playboy would hurry up and do its first zero-G spread.

A glancing blow from sword, mace, or axe by a mounted unit would slide right over that Sentinel's helm, but that Praetorian's helm would catch the force of the blow and give that poor soldier whiplash at the very least. I'd lose the cape, as well... at least on the battlefield. Nonetheless, nice art...

Both look very promising, and both should provide HOMM fans with adequate diversion until HOMM VI comes along.

Rather, I meant to say I don't think I've gotten many triple coups-de-grace with a normal mage shot... I've gotten plenty of triple hits, but not coups-de grace.

I play this game very often, and the AI truly leaves a lot to be desired... this particular battle was, of course, a very easy win.
