I myself like the slower pace, especially the expensive building upgrades - in heroes 3 you hardly ever saw any un-upgraded units in the enemy players' ranks.

We can agree to disagree. The only thing in common civ and heroes have is that they are both TBS. Other then that, in my opinion, they are totally different games.

So it ruins the expirience of civ games?

Last time I checked this was the Heroes 5 forum. What you are saying is "Hey in Quake you can survive a 50 meter fall, let's add that to Splinter Cell because it's so cool in Quake".

Cleanpea, the only other faction which has hidden goodies would be Academy, in my opinion, with their mini-artifacts. Other towns' specials are pretty straightforward.

The FoW that restores itself belongs in the RTS genre, heroes is good with what we've got now, imo.

Look like feathers to me.

They are a force now, that necromancy is bugged, but once it's put into it's place the Necro will need some help in order to cope with the other towns.

I like how the Dungeon is the first town that has 3 sections on CH

Well the sylvan is, in comparison to the chains, a no brainer too. You just select what is your favorite enemy and you're done. Chains can be quite powerful even in small battles. A single Assassin attack that matches it's target followed by a Black Dragons attack will result some serious pain
