Biggest differences between the 2 is that Equilibris sought to improve the balance of the game, especially for multiplayer games, with stat changes, cost changes, income change and such. Aswell as trying to fix some bugs and even out the usual creature choice of eg. Cyclops vs Ogre Magi and Vampires...

I played it some years ago. Great campaigns, but I don't remember much of the map details though.

From time to time my facebook site is flooded with adds for Homm3 "inspired" games. Really they just display slightly altered H3 gameplay, but the actual game/gameplay are far from H3. So yeah, one could probably easily find +50 online/mobile games "stealing" graphic from H3. If ...

I found Warriors of Might and Magic to be somewhat hard to control.. had to give up on that just a few levels in..
