Heroes and time-management

Hello everyone! Here is a question that has been bothering me lately. As time goes on I find that I have less and less free time to spend on my leisure activities, be it sports, hobbies or just going out. When I was in school I had lots of free time and I could be playing a few heroes maps a week wi...

"The resource requirements kicking in" largely means that random treasures on map become more important. Since they are hard to control, it is harder to compare town performances and in multiplayer impossible setting are rarely used, because too much luck involved. Now if you look at the ...

It's also extremely unfair. My game I had 5 Firebirds + ~120 Sprites at the start of week 2, which other race can take on that kind of army!? The game is more balanced at Expert and Impossible difficulty settings, because that's where the resource requirements kick in. I guess you should not be tal...

Armageddon's Blade in the Campaign

You probably all remember the intro cinematic to the Armageddon's Blade. Gelu, Catherine, Roland and a sharpshooter running to some mountain cave and finding the Blade there. Well, the thing is - where does this cinematic fit in the story? In the actual campaign you had to defeat Xeron and take it l...

M&M: Clash of Heroes

Hey guys! I would like to know what you think about this game. When I first saw it I was like naaaaaaaaaaaah. Anime+M&M does not work. But then, once I've checked it out - it's a very amazing game! It really deserves to have M&M in its title. It has this tactical feeling in combat, that othe...

But for skill specialties, the maximum you can get is 100%, no? So if one has expert armourer (15%) and has a specialty on it, it rises to only 30%. That's only a 15% difference They are not capped by any means. With high enough level you cna make these heroes completely invincible. As far as I rec...

Well, uh... if u just hire the key creature, then how be u act according to the circumstances ? Well, what I've meant was - you have to build according to the circumstances. Quoting Jolly Joker's guide: In the second week you may have to solve an ugly problem. You can get Greater Basilisks with 2 b...

Care to show me how it is well argumented saying beastmasters can't get air? And even if they couldn't, which is wrong, how conclude on the future leveling of an hero without taking in consideration witch huts, scholars, magic academies, universities, pandora boxes and magic terrains? Imho, if you play Fortress it's safe to go for dragonflies and then add some basilisks in week 2 only if you need them. I've found that Wyverns eat up a lot of wood, which is the most important resource for the Fortress, but depending on the map it may be a good strategy as well. Actually that's the...

@Korbac JJ based his guide on raw numbers, without any gaming experience other than single player. As AI does not offer a decent resistance, it is always wrong to conclude final results from botched battles. I would say his guides can be applied to both single and multiplayer. All his statements ar...

Um... I guess the discussion went a little offtopic here. I would refer to the Jolly Joker guides about the faction's strenghts and weaknesses. While Castle has above average speed and specialises on dealing damage (with their high morale and double-attacks) its speed structure sucks. The Archangels...
