No, GM still requires Master 10. Also, the bolster function can be turned on and off or have its intensity altered at will.

I think the formula responsible for the generation of uniques should be altered a bit. I know there is repetition now, unlike in the base games - but stuff like this here simply shouldn't happen.

Well I would assume they had at least part of the code responsible for monsters being able to cast those spells implemented, since they bothered to let the monsters have those spells on paper. But it's probably like you're saying - they didn't get around to making those spells work due to time const...

I had this instacrash error several times when opening the secret bookshelf in the dragon hunters' keep, the one where you find Snake. It eventually worked fine, but sounds like it's the same error as the elevator crash.

Magic shops always carried clubs, and they can be sold there too - they're an exception of sorts, since they don't require a weapon skill to be used.

Hareck's Leather gives a +5 bonus to Unarmed, rather than Stealing like it says. Now that Stealing is again implemented, this probably can be reverted.

Suggestion: Since there are very few Phoenixes in MM8, what do you think about adding their spawns to the Castle of Fire?
