BTW - according to what we established on the Discord channel - it's probably impossible to affect the recipe pool sold at alchemist shops by using any editable file - it'll probably have to be altered in the game's code. So Rodril, if you wouldn't mind putting this on your to-do list? Could be done...

Just found the Crown of Final Dominion in the chest left to the obelisk in Erathia. I don't think artifacts and relics are supposed to appear in that chest. Chest 7 is supposed to have 3 random artifacts in MM7 according to MMEditor 2.1 (which is in Merge as well). And one tier6 item which could be...

Can confirm. There is a formula that determines being able to identify monsters, in general it's dependent on the skill in Id Monster and possibly your party's character level (not sure about the latter part though). Oh yeah, and in Escaton's Palace, the behemoth clones can cast Sunray. Indoors :D

I know that's supposed to replace the Paralyze spell which was coded not to work (the game would have been mad hard if it did), but it should prolly be replaced with some less story-breaking spell.

Yeah, MM7 had some pre-placed wands with no charges ever since vanilla I think. I may have seen one or two in MM8 too. I've also noticed: - Enrothian mage shop owners tend to say their "thank you" line if you don't buy anything from them, to which a party member comments how rude they are....
