I'm sure they'll do a good job on it. I have the Galactic Civ games. And they seem to have a clue about customer service and treating the customer right.

But I consider Age of Wonders 2: Shadow Magic to be the spiritual successor to Master of Magic at this point.

The monsters level up with you but the loot does too. It has been a while since I've played but look for caves that house humans since they'll drop weapons and armor you can use. And if you wander the roads at night sometimes you run into bandits who may have stuff you can use. I played through as a...

Those screenshots look very nice. It is obvious you have put lots of work into into your map. I wish I had time to help you playtest but at the moment I don't. Perhaps you should submit it for the playtesting section if you still need playtesters. If you do be sure to include a readme text file in t...

Anybody have Sacred 2 yet? It won't be released in North Ameria for almost another month! I think it happened that way when the original Sacred was released too!

Well, I just finished at level 41. Quite an enjoyable game with a few plot twists. I initially stayed neutral in the conflict between the humans and demihumans but sided with the humans in Act2. The company put out a couple of free adventures that will obviously be much shorter than the game itself ...

I don't like it. I like having the strategic choice of what skills to take. And not being able to get every skill adds to replayability.

Re: H5 - Changing Town Buildings with Script?

I haven't used the SetTownBuildingLevel() function. But when you transform a town the script name of the town changes (at least before TOTE that was the case, haven't checked it again.) That is your most likely culprit. I ran into that problem in Shadow Dreams where I transformed the center town int...

Errrrr... Is it a motorbike? A blender? Some cardboard fastened to a childs bike? Who can tell  Ummmm...I was puzzled at your suggestion that I become a wanton criminal. 8| Though sorry to hear cracks are illegal where you live. I wanted her to be called a Sorceress... duh. But in D3 you can chose the gender of your character. Calling a male spell caster a sorceress would be too transgender for most of us. 8| Wizard is a more genereic term. Maybe they'll change not allowing the player to distribute attribute points since n...

Bah, i was right, it's just the sorceress with another name and some new skills... In other words the wizard is just a spell caster? What did you want him to be, a swordsman? The skills look quite a bit different, and lots of skills to boot. More information is up at this fan site. (Be sure...

Yes, enlightenment too early is not a good choice. Narxes is a poor starting heroe becuase he starts with enlightenment and fist. As a wizard I will develop one or two (depending on spells in the guild) magic skills and sorcery before getting enlightenment. Arcane intuition would be nice for a wizar...

I used to think that some abilities are given better odds than others, until I read the guide. Now, I think I can manipulate the odds a little better. You do have better odds at advancing in some skills than others depending on what faction you are playing. Of course if you only develop a couple of...

The sword fighting in Witcher is not a clickfest. You click to initiate an attack and the number of blows in the first part of the attack executes. Depending on your skill level there are attitional "attacks" in the attack. After the primary part of the attack executes you click to start t...
