Re: Downtime Monday 20.7

Huh, really, the smilies aren't visible for you? Because they show up fine here: :| Maybe it's a user group permission issue?

Re: Praise Thread 2.0

Around 10k users were actually shown as registered on 2006-01-06, which is probably because they were migrated from some previous forum but never actually followed through. That's why the statistics were inflated like that.

Re: Praise Thread 2.0

Thanks :) And funny that people here mentioned the user count, since after pruning we're down to a more reasonable 4k users :)

Re: Downtime Monday 20.7

Pruning complete! Those who have only 1 post have been disabled instead of deleted altogether. Those who never activated their accounts will probably get an activation email resent to them automatically soon.

What part of "don't mind the vanilla looks" do you not get? :P This is the stock phpBB3 theme, it will be changed later. It's just not a priority right now.

And the forums are now upgraded! All other features are still in progress, and don't mind the vanilla looks just yet.

Clarification clarification: by "not logged in" I mean not logged into the forums, not the website. The two share account details but are otherwise separate systems. About the website accounts, they won't be transferred at first, but will probably be connected to the forum accounts once ag...

We haven't decided yet, but I believe it's safe to prune accounts that: * Have 0 posts and have not logged in for a year * Have < 10 posts and have not logged in for 5 years Just to give some statistics: there are about 10,000 users with 0 posts on the boards right now. Additionally there are about ...

The rest of the site will be set to read-only as well. And a reminder to Dalai not to put anything on Mantis past that date until it's upgraded too.

Then they won't bother with the mines, obviously.

By the way, a good way to explore how adventure AI works is to play an allied map with an allied AI.

As mentioned in other threads, when it comes to adventure map AI, the higher difficulties actually do more harm to it because the AI is slower than it should be when trying to take over mines and whatnot. The battle AI does improve, though, I believe. And yes, even on Advanced the AI will sometimes ...

That's because it's either Coliseum or Colosseum. Both are correct. The latter is probably easier to remember.

Oh yea, that's right, I was thinking about damage, not unlocking itself. The damage dealt differs, that's why sometimes you die and sometimes you don't. And yea, perception helps.

But there's plenty of in-between too, which is why you can save, try to unlock, on death reload, repeat until you don't die. That's what pretty much always happens for me in MM7 haunted man...
