Re: Gathering Storm - Life and Death Scenario trouble
I have the ring of light, and I have the cloak of darkness. But I do not seem to get the promised '1 guardian angel' at the beginning of each combat. Has anyone else encountered this? I'm finding the scenario impossible - but would be MUCH easier if I had these promised angels that's for sure. You ...

In most cases I use two heroes in each army I have. They will be from my allignment in order to avoid morale penalty. It will typical be one might and one magic hero. The magic hero will get some Combat though for survival. When playing Haven, the might hero will also get basic Life magic for healing.

I pretty much agree with the original poster. Besides from DD and Fly, the Lvl 5 spells are mostly just not worth it, except in very rare cases. The same goes IMO for the Lvl 3 spells, with Teleport and Raise Dead, as only exceptions. Most often the Lvl 1 and 2 spells are just the better choices, we...

@Winter Depends what you are rushing against :D @Darknessfood Tower has another weakness IMO, in that it lacks a really fast unit. This means than your opponent will most likely have the crucial first turn/first spell. A lack of a strong flying unit also hurts in sieges, but the shooter lineup compe...

If you started with 10,000, then rushing roc/wyvern means no improvement for your town, which means a poor gambit in the longshot. Not to mention wether you really need them in the first place. I do agree with you. I'm usually building Capitol before starting the creature building (Random XL with u...

Rumor has it, that RAM prices are about to start increasing again, due to cut downs in production. I'm not buying any though, the 2 GB in my PC is more than sufficient for my current use. You payed 1k for RAM?! Pls tell me you where drunk out of your mind at the time. Some ppl (with to much money) u...
