I find it quite weird, that the bonus isn't the same for the same class... for example that Gnolls get an additional 14 skillpoints from the level 33 Beastmaster, while Inferno only get an additional 9 skillpoints from the level 33 Demoniac. And the quite random way those additional skillpoints are ...

Have you installed all game updates/patches?

Is your PC really old? The system requirements listed on the gamebox was way off, AFAIR.

Is it the surface part or the underground part of the map, that you have trouble accessing?

*Spoiler* highlight the text below for a hint *Spoiler*

If it's the surface part, sailing is your friend.
If it's the underground part, look for a two way portal in a corner of the map.

I made a small test for the creature bonus system, but I used Valeska. Her special is added attack+defence for Archers after lvl 2. The system went like this: Lvl 2: +1 att +1 def Lvl 8: +1 att Lvl 14: +1 att +1 def Lvl 22: +1 att Lvl 28: +1 att +1 def (grand total at lvl 28: Added 5 attack + 3 defe...

My turn: two years ago the fan of my Radeon 9800 Pro started making strange noises inside my Dell, right after I turned on the computer most of the time. I didn't worry too much about it and after a while I started having weird pixels in my games and after a discussion with tech support, I realized...

I'm also one of those simpletons who think that a larger number next to a product must necessarily mean that said product is better (and more expensive), so it perplexes me that the 9600 can be so much cheaper than the 8800. :?? The first number shows the generation. The second shows the range (bud...

You should also consider what kind of games you are going to play on this computer. The graphics card is not especially good, so don't expect to play Crysis or something like that with it.

Btw, are you from Denmark, or are they running this offer in several countries at the same time??

I beat the map on impossible diffuculty recently. As always speed is your best friend. And be sure to get good secondary skills to start with. I chose to clear the nearby creature generators to bolster my army as first priority. North of your starting town, you can access two of the griffin generato...

TechReport makes some decent systems guides:

The 8800GT has received excellent reviews, but seems to be in very limited supply at the moment. But if you don't mind waiting, this seems like the best price/performance ratio right now.

As for the original question, choice of compenents really depends on your intended use. Should it be able to play Crysis at decent framerates or just Heroes V? :devious:

What about Direct X 10 compliance?
How much do you intend to spend on the thing?
Is noise a factor?

Seriously no fan no problems Harddisk seeking noise can be quite annoying as well. You are right, the fans can wear out, but they are relatively cheap and easy to replace. Yate Loon fans cost about 5 $ per fan, and are of decent quality. Going totally fan less with your PC is not a good choice unle...

You can make your PC virtually silent by choosing the right components. The noisemakers in general are: - power supply fan. Seasonic and Corsair make some good and very quite PSUs. - fans (both case and heatsink). Scythe S-flex and Noctua are good choices here. Undervolting is an option. - video car...

So far I have two Castle, two Fortress, and a Rampart creature in my all-star army. No flyers yet and no speedy creatures either. I wonder how good this army would be in practice. My army so far is a shooter (Storm Elementals), two flyers (Sprites+Vampire Lords) and two ground pounders (MG+Cerberi)...

Voted Mighty Gorgons.
Lots of HP, good attack and a very nice special ability.

The T-birds were runners up by a fair margin.

That was our Ligalandshold, not the real national team. Only players from the danish league was on that team, so the best players were absent.
