Dimension Door. Although it is far too easy to abuse this spell in H2.

Slow is useful, but I voted haste, because reaching enemies in the first turn with your unit(s) is even more useful. :p

Blind. Mainly because you can keep an enemy stack out of action indefinitely, if you move units in the right order.

Darmani wrote:Of the H2 spells, Teleport, no question. It's a game changer -- hydras become one of the most fearsome creatures, and taking down garrisons becomes way easier.
Agreed. Teleporting hydras into a garrison really ruins the enemy's day :p also useful for attacking with 4-digit skeleton stacks.

Berserk. Especially deadly against wandering creatures (in H2 anyway), who can't defend themselves against it.

Oh sure, every faction has its unique strengths and weaknesses in H2. But, except for heavily-naval maps, if you're playing the Sorceress faction, then it'll usually be best to use Sorceress troops and a Barbarian hero. Nevertheless, it's very wishful thinking to consider the factions balanced. For...

But back to the subject - that sounds like a ****ty TV then. ... But, HV, it's 70 frakkin' inches! I'll make some sacrifices for size. It's like playing MM and HOMM on a frakkin' movie screen, man! :) A low resolution at 70 inches looks horrible, quite frankly. What use is it with HOMM, that limits...

Try using something other than the S-video interface? VGA maybe? HV, thanks for the suggestion, but I already use the PC input with the monitor cable. The JVC 70 inch D-ILA television only supports two resolutions - 1024x728 and 6??x420. (I can never remember those numbers exactly, but all the MM g...

Different uses of different heroes: If you need a scout over water, take a Sorceress. If you need to get a really good artifact that requires Leadership, take a Knight. If you need a scout over normal terrain and don't want to buy Very Fast troops to give him, take a Wizard or Warlock. If you're fa...

You obviously haven't played enough multiplayer games, no offense. No, I haven't played MP. Yes, there are some game-breaking issues in H2. Fix them. Magic spells need some tweaking, yes. But stop messing with the faction balance. I know, I seem to be a lone voice here, but nevermind. Any faction c...

Vista sucks for backwards compatibility (64 that is, 32 is somewhat better, but people use 64 because of the RAM capability).
