"Genesis" is a nickname given to Heroes IV by the fan community IIRC. And title of MM9 was "Writ of Fate", even if it has been removed for some reason.

Be careful : "a new game in the M&M universe" is not the same as "a new M&M RPG". And after what RenZo said, I am a bit worry about that... I don't want to see a M&M hack'n'slash...

For information : Olivier Ledroit is a well-known french comics artist , especially famous for his work on "The Black Moon Chronicles", along with other comics like "Sha" and more recently "Requiem"

My guess is this is a theme from another Ubi game "borrowed" for demo purpose as Rob King is probably composing H5 music as we talk :p This tune is a very "neutral" combat/epic music, so it could come from any universe (AFAIK, it could be from Settlers, or Alexander, or a WW2 gam...

I hope Ubi Soft will remain independant... It is one of the last french video game company. And I really don't want to have only EA on the PC market.

It's not very impressive. The design is quite different than the in-game screenshots (dark/grim for the CG trailer and colorful/cartoon for the game) and it looks fast-made (mainly the fight between the angel and the devil). I hope it's not actually the intro movie...

In the first Might and Magic, there was a Lord Ironfist...

In Might and Magic IV and V, one of the main character was a King Roland (and NOT the Roland of Enroth)...

As long as they keep the Might and Magic universe - the Ancients, the Kreegans... - it's OK for me. I guess naming the king Nicolai is a way to appeal the Might and Magic fans.

I hope they will respect the Might and Magic universe (for instance, demons being the alien Kreegans and not just supernatural-evil-creatures-from-hell). Hard to tell at this point. I cross my fingers.
