From what I've seen of both games, I'd put my money on Middle-earth. ;|
You can even make your own heroes, their looks and skills!

The Battle for Middle-earth II Demo

Has anyone played it yet? I fell in love with it's ambientation, it really makes you feel you're watching the movie. The graphics are OK, they probably look a lot better in the higher configurations, and the sound is just amazing. The music, ambient fx, and the voices are all flawless, and give a lo...

The True Blade is easy because there's never any timing needed, so you can take your time and develop your heroes easier. Choosing an easier difficulty dramatically affects the game too, if you want.

To get back on topic again... I was just playing a campaign I had stored in my Map folder for a while. And it made me think about the stories in maps... What makes a story interesting is the fact that it does indeed correspond to that particular scenario. Everything said in the text should have impo...

The question is not about the game, it's about the maps. Yeah, exactly when did this topic deviate...? Anyway, I think any H4 scenario has definetely RPG objects in it. The concept of RPG doesn't necesarily involve story, it's just about growing up and getting rich, in a way. In my opinion, H4 is c...

Well, Veldrynus is right. It all comes down to how the story is formatted. I like stories that are content-rich, which don't use a whole paragraph just to describe the chair the main hero is sitting on. For example, the H3 map Gaidal Cain suggested, Hail to the King, had a great and interesting stor...

1) In the Hero events (Victory), just set a "JustFought" variable to "1". Then the clover event checks if it is ="1". If it is, the script runs and sets it back to "0". You get the idea. 2) The only morale thing that has worked for me is the one you set for he...

I always wondered why they call *that* football, since most of the time the ball is in your arms anyway.

Football (soccer) kicks ass, btw.

Yes, scripts will be read infinite times until you tell them not to do so, they're powerful, but they can't read your mind! To prevent this event from being fired again there's two main things to do. 1) After the Combat command use a "Remove this object" command. That way, the "Golden...
