Sylvan links are too bright. The text is black, the background is fairly light, and the links are very light. All of this doesn't stack well. I think the links should be dark green.

Well, we only had that for like a fraction of a second. And there's this guy who can turn into a bear. When? At the end they "apparently" die. So what was the point? They didn't die. They were never shown dying. Don't know about the girl, but the man appears in the sequel. They were littl...

Well, I don't know about sequels, as the first sequel (Day Watch) doesn't have an open ending like the first film, it would be diffucult to continue the story given that ending. As for screwing up, most people think it was better than the original.

Night Watch

Has anyone seen this Russian movie in a theater? (Of course, the probability is fairly low.) I have a few questions: 1. Is the international version and the USA version one and the same? 2. What are the English spellings of these character names as seen in subtitles? (They seem to be spelled differe...

So, 68% for Firefox so far. Not bad, compared to the official statistics of 8-12%. Anyone mind if I put the poll on the main CH page?

It's obvious that you've been to the Ubisoft forums
No, I haven't. Do they promote this conspiracy theory too?

The disappointing Heroes IV made it clear, that even a HoMM game needs good development.
Even? Any game needs good development, and a game as complex as Heroes especially needs good development.

People on the Heroic Corner forums went as far as claiming that the "Save Heroes" movement is Ubisoft and Nival's PR action.
It's true, isn't it, Angelspit? How many $$$ have you received from these corporate bastards? ;)

Open beta controversy on Wikipedia

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heroes_of_Might_and_Magic_V#Open_beta_controversy I've begun this section, others are welcome to contribute as the event progresses. Hopefully this will attract more people to the Save Heroes movement. Just remember to remain neutral and favor neither side, instead remai...

Now Windows has become a bloated, complicated mess.
And Linux didn't? Most of the distributions, at least.

Heroes V on the Mac

That's good news, but what I'm really looking forward to is a Linux version. Although it's about as likely as the probability that I'm Fabrice's aunt.

Windows is a registered trademark. Please don't misspell it.
(And no, I'm not a Microsoft pusher, this post is written from Linux.)

Not with DOS...
A DOS emulator is a better solution. At least your computer won't be ruined if something goes wrong.

Firefox, with adBlock

How else would I get rid of all annoying ads and sigs?
Maxthon, a shell for the IE engine which provides tabbed browsing, has an ad blocker. Or you can install a separate program like Ad Muncher.

You do, actually. :)
Whatever they say, IE is a good browser, but there's one thing wrong with Microsoft as a company: they always do things right, but only after exhausting all the other options. IE7 proved this once again.
