RTS's Has there ever been such a thing for in the Might&Magic universe? Not that I'm against, but I really never heard about anything else that TBS and RPG (H)M&M games. There's been some hinting at a complete M&M franchise, including RTS. They're already doing the second FPS game (I do...

Too bad we got only one Phoenix that flies in and out of battle less than two seconds. :disagree: Well... if you caount alll the mythical creatures in Narnia, you'd be surprised. The Giants didn't come into play. There were only 3 of them and they did nothing. I guess it was a Life/Nature army vs. ...

Unfortunately the skeletal animations don't look good at all. In the videos I've seen they look like the ones of morrowind, where people have one foot in the air in stairs, slide on the ground when they turn without walking, etc. However, it could be ok if the bodies have physics when they fall on ...

It's more for future RPGs and FPS's set in the universe, though it'll apply to RTS's and TBS's.

I noticed Amazon had a preorder of HoMM V, listed price was 19.99, but they increase to 49.99 just yesterday.
Forget it, then. Target's offer was linked to Amazon's.

$19.99 HOMMV

I don't know if the preorder special is still up, but:

1) go to target.com

2) search for "heroes" or "might & magic"

3) place your order

4) enter promotion code "TCADVCDE" to get an additional 10% off!

Only good for USA residents, though. Sorry.

No, I mean the very LOOK of the battle. Even the banners of Aslan look EXACTLY like the banners from HOMM3. Well that how banners look like! Or do they have the same markings on them? The banners are exactly the same as HOMM -- same color, same insignia. Same everything. It's like Life and Nature f...

No. A "bible" is usually reserved for developers' eyes only, due to the massive spoilers.

Might & Magic "bible" for the new series

In the current issue of Computer Games Magazine, there's now a new "bible" for M&M world that "all future worlds" will spring from, indicating that HOMM5 and Dark Messiah are only the tips of the iceberg in future M&M games.

Jan 2006 issue of CGM

The game is part of a larger feature on the Might & Magic series.

It's going to be pretty morally ambiguous, and it looks pretty good visually.

HOMM and Chronicles of Narnia

Anyone watch The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe and immediately think during the battle, "This looks exactly like a Heroes of Might and Magic battle!"

Exactly, especially the griffins, giants, minotaurs, etc.

Moved to campfire, where it better belongs. GC
