There's a hidden passage in the wall on top of one of the nearby buildings (Buccanneer's Lair I think). You will of course need to Fly there. Not neccessary. Just stand near, look up and press space. Knight does a lot more overall damage with big armsmaster skill. BTW, he also does so wearing a blaster. To wear blaster is the way to beat the knight mentioned by UndeadHalfOrc in the beginning :) The thing with armsmaster is that besides damage and attack it also increases combat speed very much. ...

In MM6 I died by hitting the arc of the Castle Ironfist gates. I was flying and when I touched it fly stopped and I suddenly got pushed down so that the party died. It happened twice or even more times.

For me, waves of monsters in MM6 aren't any bad. I really like those big dungeons like VARN with some interesting scripts stuff in them. I can't remember much scripts in MM7 or MM8 dungeons.

Poison Spray. As well as sparks, it recovers extremely fast, but does more damage, especially with big skill level. And Water Magic is the first to get to 12 points anyway.
