Yes, MMExtension adds a console.
I prefer to wait until I have weapons good enough to dispatch the Trolls in melee and get some fun doing it.

I just thought, it's obvious I'm gonna win the game, so why not speed it up by typing the win command ( evt.EnterHouse(600) ) in the console right after party creation? ;) In MM8 knight solo I gave my knight Protection from Magic as quick spell and gave him enough spell points to cast it in the Gorg...

Make sure working directory is correct and Anims\Anims1.vid exists. The error means that it can't open Anims\Anims1.vid, although the error message is messed up by NWC developers.

If any problems would occur, I think I would be able to fix them. But I won't recommend using brand-new operating systems. I prefer to wait for 1 or 2 service packs. I'll actually stick with XP until stuff stops support it or until I need new DirectX versions.
