Voted for the H1 Sprite. She looks better (and cuter) in-game. Oh yeah, and there is some nostalgia involved.

I've watched a couple of trailers before, and I must say it looks amazing! But I have my doubts, because it's almost too good to be true. The developer team has a good past - they did a great job with Diablo I & II. But things are different now. This is their first non-Blizzard game, it's in 3D ...

The change to 3D was inevitable, it's today's reality (unfortunately). Even a game like "Civilization" is 3D now.

I agree with igoraki though, Nival should have focused more on gameplay.

Q: Could the mouse wheel be used to scroll up/down while in the map selection screen?

(This is just a trivial request. If it's something hard to implement, then don't bother with it.)

The H4 one looks much more better in-game (esp. with its animations). And also the H1 unicorn looks better in-game.

However, my favourite one would be the H3 War Unicorn.

The death animations in H5 do look good. Though I find the sound effects to be rather weak.

The new 3D view is the least of my concerns in H5. Actually, I quite like it. Nival did a good job on this one.

One of the least used creatures in H4, the Ogre Mage, probably has the best death animation ever (IMO). It's pretty cool, really. Sheer brilliance!

Went with the H4 one.

The H2 air elemental is clearly the worst looking creature in H2.

To be honest, the new 3D view is one of the few good things I like in H5.

Out of those, it's gating. Necromancy is my favourite though.

Caesar III is a great game indeed. I love its fast pace. Even though Pharaoh was better in many areas, it lacked that sense of urgency. And that's why I like Caesar III so much. H4, easily. In fact, that's why I like it so much. It's also in my view, an unfinished revolution.
