But also it's atmosphere and colour scheme. It's just brilliant.

Your idea is very logical, but it would ruin the fun of making experimental parties. Like a Dwarven Sorcerer and a Elven Paladin and so on.

He seems to be a character, much like Clanker. Clanker's Lab was even filled with Beholders and the like.
