Well if you don t buy the upgrades, don t expect the game to be the best possible, but to be fair, remember that they ll continue to patch the old version. Kilop, you said this and this is what I am commenting on. Yes, I do see the second part of the sentence and yes, they do patch the base game. B...

As Elvin implied I am not convinced that the devs. really understood what they were even trying to do. I am afraid that they know what they are doing, they just don't know that's not what they should be doing, partly because the game has been selling well and ranked high. I saw a poll at Nival offi...

Yes, patching CAN be a good thing, especially when they deal with balance issues... As far as I understand, noone is arguing that patching is necessary. Well, it wouldn't be in the perfect world, but our world isn't. The point is that making consumers buy add-ons saying that without those the game ...

1 GB ram here and no problem with AI turns. 2Gb here and there is a problem. My pc is well above the recommended config. Well, no point in arguing really as there is no way I can prove that it's slow to people who think it's fast, as well as there is no way they can prove to me that it's fast as I ...

Well, from my experience, Laptops are usually over $1000, and unless you are in a well paying job, you win the lottery, or are supplied a laptop. Gaming desktops are quite expensive. You can get a desktop for 10k (I am not sure if that would be enough for H5 though) and you can get a laptop for 600...

Laptops are very expensive and you could build your own desktop, where as with a laptop, unless you know what you're doing, you really can't build your own and would have to buy one that's premade(ergo the major expense that a laptop has). I really think you should wake up and look around :-) The r...

Dont take offence,it was just a joke.It seems that the new patch speeds up the games that were doing badly, and slows down those that did good. But seriously, like stated above, the only thing I can think of doing this are fan made mods. Are there mods that speed up the AI thinking or smth like that? G...

well. It might sound a little heretical, but since the number of addons is already decided, then I hope HofF won't be a success in terms of sales. Nival needs a kick to do a better job.

he is a merchant after all! One could say - why doesn't market sell artefacts? it's a market after all, not just a resourse market, and what markets do is selling whatever for whatever. Similarly, a mechant is one who sells, and selling is exchanging goods for money. Exchanging resourses for goods ...

Thats just double work.I thought it sells for any resource like in HIII. Well. I don't really dislike the idea of selling artefacts for any resourses, but admit that here the game is as real as it gets - you only pay with money in real jewelry stores:) I guess in one of the following patches Nival ...

erased. over. out wrote:It really irks me how the Artifact Merchant in HoMM V sells you items in exhange for gold only. Is there any way to mod this so that the merchants accept other resources as well?
You don't need a mod - you have a market in your town.

All positions in "Seize The Throne" are winable but some positions are not as easily defendable as others, as stated in the readme. From most defendable to least is roughly Haven, Necropolis, Inferno, Dungeon, Sylvan, and lastly Academy. GOW I actually read the Readme before playing. :) Didn't help...
