Re: Walk the Llama Llama
You have got to be kidding! All I can think, and picture is Carl Wheezer from "Jimmy Neutron" and his Llama infatuation. Well, this totally made up my mind - I won't be buying Heroes VII.

Re: Placebo Effect in Games
Wow! The truth hurts. I think the article is very accurate. I can't count the number of times someone has told me they didn't like a particular movie, book, game, whatever, only to be told when asked if they had seen the movie, read the book, etc.answered no, they didn't need to. A friend, critic, w...

Oh great, just what we need. As it is now, EVERY time we try to reload a saved Heroes V game where the map is larger then extra large (huge, impossible) we are thrown out of the game, and we do mean every time. In addition, when we start the first "session" for the day, it won't load the most recent...

I actually like a mix of open, barren country with "busy" areas. In fact, some maps are so full of objects, buildings, mines, etc., that my computer slows to a crawl and you can't see the forest for the "trees" (objects, etc.).

I think it looks pretty nice. I assume they built a new wood bridge to access the portal, since the stone bridge doesn't appear to have access?

Wow, it's really hard to see it's eye. I had to stick my nose on the ecreen to see it. Actually, it looks like it has a helmet on.

Frankly, I like the idea of "wasted space" - if that wasted space is full of appropriate terrain. As far as I'm concerned, there is nothing duller than a chess board. And yes, I play chess and have played for about 55 years now (since my early teens). Please note that I'm not talking about the game ...

H7 Collectors Ed. Available in US
OK, I don't get it. I went to the Uplay shop and didn't see the Retail Collector's Edition available anywhere. I know I'm not the brightest bulb in the chandelier, but what am I missing?

Hmmm...and I was just thinking the screen shot looked pretty nice. One of the nicer features of all the Heroes games is that they DIDN'T push graphic boundries. Those of us who couldn't afford to upgrade our software/hardware very often really appreciated that we could run Heroes games on our existi...

Heck, we've been calling them Stargates forever, that's not new. Also, the Hero on the map has always been waaaaaaay bigger than virtually any other map feature since the very beginning.

ANd when the horse puts its front legs down from that pedestal, the knight is going to catapult over the front of the horse. Good thing he's wearing a helmet.

I like the town, except for the ginormous "Big Bird" and the floating Transept of Elysium. What's with all the floaty towns and buildings anyway? And by the way, the Haven was, is and probably always will be the worst faction ever.
