Preserve are good just because of their creature portal; it is the thing that propels them forward and on most maps, the only way to mantises. devils cost 3666+1 sulfur, yet ancient treants cost a lot less and have 15 hp more+ cool ability. i suggest that in a patch they change the devils' cost to:

devils 2666gold+1sulfur or just 2666 or just 3666

archdevils 3666+2 sulfur or just 2666+2 sulfur or just 3666+1 sulphur

happened to me once too, my opponets stacks were tripled. just when i killed one stack, another one appeared. that may be the source of my losing all the time...

HoMM V is CLEARLY the best Heroes game ever.



I totally agree. Homm series have been going towards improving the strategy and h5 is definately the climax. One of the best reviews I have read.
