On Iron Lore and PC Gaming

Tell me: How do i cause any financal loss to a company when i try their game after downloading it from torrent? Otherwise i wouldn't buy that game, because i don't have the money for it or simply dont't like it. I have a dozen of original games, really good games. I can't believe that i'm the reason...

Week of forgery

I've just realized that it was worth buying unupgraded creatures and then upgrade them on the week of forgery. This way half of the upgrade cost can be spared compared to buying the upgraded units.

Random starting artifact is not for a serious mp game imho.

1, I agree this should be improved.

2, The biggest problem is that the ai can't retreat.

3, Harddrive swapping is slow, and in a longer game h5 uses a lot of swap space.

4, I've never experienced gate crushing in 1.4/2.0...

6, By now they've fixed the most annoying ones.

1= Small
2= Normal
3= Large
5= Extra Large
I found in the map editor S4-7, S5-10 template codes...
I don't think they are for map size...
As for P, it could be player's number though.

"i kill its strong heroes and he hides in town" This problem alone takes away the challange form H V... In H 3 i had to keep fighting high level ai heroes with great artifacts until the end of the map. That kept up the challange. In H V the Shackles of the Last Man is useless. It's a shame...

The difference between a cheating ai and a good ai is not so clear imho. Somebody mentioned RoN. The ai can do a lot of things at the same time. Build 10 different buildings, choose several technologies and meanwhile controlling it's units, AT THE SAME TIME. Nobody can be so fast. Is that ai cheatin...

In custom games they never flee or retreat. This is my biggest problem too with the AI.
It's surely difficult to make the AI flee when it hasn't got enough creature to survive my attacks until it's next move. Maximum three lines in the program code as i see. :devious:

Or you attack with a free slot. If they don't join, you can still split your stack right before the battle in the tactical phase.
