The second tutorial campaign, The Emperor's Will, is still bugged.

Terrain changes from flat to rough when you first load a savefile.

Also in Tutorial II, the Guardian Angel gauge, even when fully filled, cannot be used, edit: until you go through the Spirit Gate.

Campaigning: Duke Slava

I've just finished the first tutorial campaign again, Griffin Bane (hard), with game version 2.1.

Victory arrived on day 21 for a score of 127080.

We picked up all the treasure and completed all the quests.

Did some more checking. The movement points are the same each time, but the movement costs are not. Some hexes that cost 1 movement point the first time, cost 2 movement points the second time. These are flat hexes that suddenly get counted as rough. Perhaps this is related to the Pathfinding bug. N...

No, this is different. I've checked Tutorial I a few times and it didn't happen there, but I'll do more testing with other campaigns. I have not seen a bug like the one you mention. Sometimes your route to the next stop simply becomes more efficient if you e.g. initiate the fight from a side instead...

I checked many things.

The quickest way to see this bug is not to move at all but merely set a path.

Picking a fight, visiting the rally flag or whatever does not change the observed variation. Of course you need to make sure that you repeat exactly what you did the other time.

It's the same terrain. Very easy to reproduce. Just restart the map or reload a save of the initial position, and sometimes Slava can easily reach the Sentinels to the south, while on other tries he falls well short. In Tutorial II, the distance Slava can go on turn 1 can vary by as much as 4 dots.

Similar deviations, but usually smaller, can happen on other turns.
