I don't mind steam, most of my games are on it and it works offline. Uplay though.. ugh.

Is this plagued by Uplay again?

I think the lesson is not to have bad luck and have Ubi pick up the rights for the franchise in the first place.

I wouldn't mind the tackiness if the game was actually strategic..

I don't think we're ever going to see anything even close to the impactful scores from H2/H3 come back.

This is a step in the right direction, although many more need to be made, like spending resources on aspects of the game that are important, such as gameplay and continued support, not DLC and Conflux.

On a more serious note .. when I see some goodwill from ubisoft, such as removing the conflux entirely and integrating it with steam only, fixing what's broken before chugging DLC, I might consider spending money for their cause.
