Maybe you don't need coding to change skybox. I opened dat files of maps with simple wordpad and you can see that there are directories from which maps take skybox textures in those files. I bet if you can safely change dat files then you can change skyboxes. We just need some dat files editor.

Did they even fight in Jadame? We saw their fights in Antagarich but in MM8 we learned that their main enemy was necromancers in Jadame.

Oh god it would take me a lot of time to go though the whole game again but it was stated even by oracle that there are normal ones and elite.

Well if it's a prequel then it fits for kreegans to exist cause some of them landed or migrated to Jadame after the night of shooting stars. Night of the Shooting Stars was 7 years after HoMM 2. First of all, Might and Magic 8 lore will be ignored by HoMM8/HoMM0. If it is a good thing or a bad, we will see. Well there are tools to open and modify maps or extract and view textures. I bet he used that. I could upload them if you want to see what's inside game files.

This is a must have mod. Don't even try to play M&M without it. It makes so many places sooo much better. Original M&M maps look unfinished compared to this mod. I'll say it again THIS IS A MUST HAVE.

I guess it's time to reinstall and check it out. This game really needs some love. The problem is that not many people know how to fix or mod it. I wonder is it possible to make textures hi-res with ai and add it to the game?

1. is there a way to edit hero? cause with other heroes series games changing skills and stuff with editor was so easy.
2. there are so many effects which spells apply but i dont know what they do. what does "Dazed, Frozen, Soaked, Chilled" do?
